For Ponte Vedra Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, caring for children extends far beyond the walls of the practice. Being part of the Ponte Vedra community means showing up where kids learn, play, and grow—and supporting the families who make this area so special. Over the years, we have built warm, ongoing relationships with many local schools, programs, and community groups simply because we believe that strong connections create stronger, healthier kids.

We partners with a wide range of preschools and elementary schools, offering dental health visits, fun classroom presentations, and support for teachers and staff. We also love cheering on local youth through sponsorships and special events. Some of the groups we stay involved with include:

• Local schools such as PIA, PVA, VRA, Palmer Catholic Academy, Ocean Palms Elementary, Waypoint Preschool, and more

• Dance teams, baseball teams, and cheerleading events at Ponte Vedra High School

• The annual Kids Fun Run with the Apryle Showers Foundation, where every child participates at no cost thanks to Dr. Lindsay personally covering all entry fees

• We Rise Foundation, an inclusive swimming programs that create opportunity in sport, foster independence, and develop lifelong skills for underserved children and athletes.

One of the things our team values most is being invited into classrooms during Dental Health Month to teach young students how to care for their smiles in fun, age-appropriate ways. These visits give us the chance to connect with kids in a relaxed environment and help make dentistry feel less intimidating.

Dr. Maples involvement has led to recognitions such as Character Counts Business Partner of the Year in St. Johns County—awards she’s grateful for, but not something she seeks out. For Dr. Maples, the true reward is seeing the same kids we meets in classrooms walk into the office already feeling comfortable, confident, and excited to say hello.
